School meals are available and are served in the School Hall. The menus for lunches are available to view. School meals are cooked to a high standard and give your child the opportunity of eating a well-balanced midday meal. A vegetarian option is always included and Halal meat is available.
Children who go home for lunch should return to the School Office ten minutes prior to the start of their afternoon session.Children in Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 should always be brought to and collected from school by a parent or designated adult (over 16 years old). If, for any reason, you are unable to collect your child, please inform the school office, providing them with the name of the adult you are sending in your place.
Payment for meals is made via ParentPay in advance either weekly or monthly. Your child may bring a cold packed lunch as an alternative to a cooked meal. The lunch box should be clearly labelled with your child’s name and class, and may contain a cold drink which should be in a plastic container or carton. (No fizzy drinks or sweets please).
Water and beakers are available on the tables for all children, whether they are eating cooked or packed lunches. If your child wishes to transfer from one type of lunch to the other you must contact the School Office, who will advise you when the change can take place.
