Clubs and Extra-Curricular Activities

Enjoyment is one of the key parts of our motto which is why we are incredibly proud of our extra-curricular offer. Outside of our curriculum offer, we encourage children to attend clubs and offer a wide range of educational visits and visitors to school, as well as a residential trip in Year 6.

Clubs

We have a strong offer of clubs, in and out of learning hours, which give children a chance to learn, develop and enjoy new skills. You can read our latest club schedule here:

Educational Visits & Visitors

School prides itself on offering children in all year groups a chance to put learning into context. Visitors, who come to School, bring our learning to life and, in the 'Learning' section of our website, you can see how our long-term plan includes curriculum experiences such as visits from Florence Nightingale and Samuel Pepys.

Educational visits to local and regional places complement our curriculum offer well, from learning about local religious buildings and visiting the seaside to exploring an old mine at the National Coal Mining Museum or learning about the history of where we live at the Bradford Industrial Museum.

Year 6 Residential

At the start of their final year of primary school, we take our Year 6 children to Ingleborough Hall on a 3-day residential. During their stay, team bonding is high on the agenda when the children go caving, abseiling and exploring the Yorkshire Dales countryside.
